Dr Nigel Purves
Chairman


Dr Nigel Purves is Chairman of Clarion and brings extensive executive, capital markets and corporate advisory experience across listed companies, investment banking and strategic advisory roles in Australia and international markets.

His career includes senior leadership roles such as Chief Executive Officer of REA Limited (realestate.com) and Group Chief Financial Officer of AWA Limited. He has also held investment banking and advisory positions involving initial public offerings, venture capital initiatives, corporate restructurings and strategic growth programmes.

Nigel contributes long-term strategic direction, governance oversight and capital markets alignment to Clarion as the company develops its platform-based real-assets strategy.

Francis Douglas KC FCIArb
Non-Executive Director


Francis Douglas KC is a senior barrister and internationally recognised arbitration specialist based at Sydney’s Tenth Floor Chambers. His practice spans constitutional, administrative, corporate and commercial law, with particular experience in complex litigation, appellate matters and international arbitration.

He has appeared in numerous matters leading to landmark judicial decisions, including proceedings before the High Court and intermediate appellate courts, and has served as a Justice of the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Fiji.

He contributes significant legal, governance and risk-management expertise to Clarion’s board.

Robert Whitton
Non-Executive Director


Robert Whitton is a recognised specialist in corporate restructuring, insolvency administration, forensic accounting and litigation support, with more than three decades of experience advising boards, companies and stakeholders.

He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association. He is also an Official Liquidator of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, a Trustee in Bankruptcy and a Certified Fraud Investigator.

He contributes deep governance, restructuring and financial oversight expertise to Clarion.

With more than fifteen years’ involvement in residential and commercial developments from inception to completion, he provides insight into site assessment, approvals pathways and project execution risks.
